Today's Daily Quote was a Czech Proverb, and upon telling my co-worker Mark about it (his heritage is Czech), he told me there is another great one: "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure."

So I am reading The Daily Quickie this morning, and I see that Maurice Clarett is given the "DQ" treatment. In disbelief, I wrote the following: (edited a couple typos)
I love the quickie, read it every morning, and often find myself nodding in agreement. But Maurice Clarett in the "DQ"? Come on! The biggest joke (and I am sure a multiple DQ winner) to come out of college football ever is such a non-story. So much potential, and every ounce was thrown away a long time ago.
So who should have been DQ'd? Marcus Vick! The leg stomping ego-maniac himself! How often does one of a player's coaches(Rodgers) say that his actions ruined a bowl victory? Follow that with all of his off the field problems, and we are looking at one sour sequel to Clarett.
No need to DQ the old joke ... DQ the new one!
